Ferric chloride, chemical formula FeCl3. It's a covalent compound. It is a dark brown crystal, also in the shape of flakes, melting point 306 ℃, boiling point 315 ℃, soluble in water and has strong water absorption, which can absorb water in the air and deliquesce.
